Hamid (35) has a wide angry scar running up his forearm. He used to work for a glass company. But three years ago he was involved in a car accident which left him in a coma.
He was in hospital for two months and has had several operations on his arms and leg. He takes 60 tablets a day and is in a lot of pain.
He hasn’t been able to work since the accident and his doctor says he needs three more operations.
He receives £63 a week in ESA but £46 a week of this goes on rent to the hostel where he lives.
